Child safety standards
Last updated 21 October 2026
Clickseal does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page sets out our standards, what we do when we find it, and how to reach us. It applies to everything on Clickseal: posts, stories, replies, messages, profiles and communities.
What is not allowed
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any photo, video or other content that shows or sexualises a person under 18.
- Grooming, sexual messages to minors, or any attempt to contact, exploit or endanger a child.
- Sharing, asking for, or pointing others to such material, inside or outside Clickseal.
This is set out in our Terms of Service. Breaking it means the content is removed, the account is removed, and we report it to the authorities.
Who can use Clickseal
Clickseal is for people aged 16 and over. Everyone gives their date of birth when signing up, and the sign-up is refused for anyone younger. If you believe someone under 16 has an account, report it in the app or email us and we will remove it.
How to report
- In the app: every post, story, reply, message and profile has a Report option. Choose "A child is at risk". These reports are marked urgent, go to the top of our moderators' queue, and alert a moderator by email straight away.
- By email: write to support@clickseal.app with "Child safety" in the subject.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency number first.
What we do
- A moderator reviews every child-safety report as a priority.
- Material that breaks these standards is removed, and the account responsible is removed.
- We report child sexual abuse material and children at risk to the authorities: in Cyprus, where Clickseal is based, to the Cyprus Police and the national Safer Internet hotline (a member of the INHOPE network). We cooperate with law enforcement.
- We keep a record of what was reported, for at least 12 months after it is resolved, so that it can be given to the authorities when the law requires it. We do not copy or share the material in any other way.
- Anyone can block another person at any time. Private accounts are only visible to followers they approve.
How Clickseal is built
Every photo and video on Clickseal is captured in the app's own camera. Nothing can be uploaded from a phone's gallery or from another app, so existing images and videos cannot be shared on Clickseal.
Child safety contact
Our designated contact for child safety, and for questions about how we prevent and handle CSAE, is Nicolas Vermehren: support@clickseal.app.
