Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Nicolas Vermehren ("Clickseal") for using the Clickseal app, a camera-only social app for photos and videos. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

Who can use Clickseal

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure. One person, one account.

The camera-only rule

Everything on Clickseal is captured in the Clickseal camera. You must not try to get around that: no virtual cameras, emulators, rooted or tampered devices used to fake captures, no filming a screen to pass its content off as your own capture (see Screens below), no AI-generated content, and no tampering with the app or its seals.

A seal says a photo or video came from the in-app camera on a genuine device and has not changed. It does not say the scene is unstaged and it does not vouch for what is said or shown.

Screens

You may film screens that are part of a real scene, for example a television in a room, the screens at a concert, or a game or message filmed so that it is clear you are recording a screen. You must not film a screen with the intent to pass its content off as a real scene captured with the Clickseal camera. This includes filming someone else's video or footage from a screen and presenting it as your own capture, displaying AI-generated images or video on a screen and filming them, and framing or cropping a screen to conceal it.

Every photo and video posted on Clickseal goes through our screen detection system. A flagged post is reviewed by a moderator, and cannot be shared, downloaded or remixed until it has been reviewed. A post that shows a screen honestly may stay up with a "Shows a screen" label. A post that breaks this rule is removed, and the account may be suspended or lose the ability to post.

We have a zero tolerance policy for AI-generated content. Posting AI-generated content, in any form, results in the immediate removal of the account.

Your content

You own what you capture. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, play and show it to the audience you pick, and to process it to run the service (for example converting video). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups for a short time and content already used in other people's remixes as described below.

If you allow remixes, others may use your footage inside their own remixes and duets, always crediting you. The credit cannot be removed. If you delete the original post, your footage disappears from those remixes and reposts of it are removed.

You promise that you captured the content yourself and that you have the right to share it, including the consent of any person who is clearly identifiable in it where the law requires that.

Rules: what is not allowed

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post, send or do any of the following:

Communities

You can create and join communities. A post shared to a community is shown only to its members and cannot be reposted or remixed. The person who runs a community can remove posts from it. A community's name and picture must follow these terms, and must not suggest that it is run by, or connected to, a person or organisation when it is not.

Sharing outside Clickseal and downloads

For a post open to everyone, you can switch on sharing outside Clickseal; it works while your account is public. Anyone with its link or Seal ID can then see it on clickseal.app, and people who can see it can download a copy marked with your handle and the Seal ID. You must not remove or hide that mark, or present a downloaded copy as something it is not. Switching sharing off stops the page showing the post, but copies already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Reporting, blocking and what we do

Every post, reply, story, message and profile has a Report option, and you can block anyone. Reports go to a moderator, who looks at the content and decides. Photos and videos also go through our screen detection system, and a moderator reviews anything it flags (see Screens). Moderators can also flag a post themselves. We may remove content, restrict or delete accounts, and report illegal content to the authorities. Serious breaches get an immediate account removal.

If we remove your content or account, we tell you why when we are able to. If you think we got it wrong, email support@clickseal.app and we will look again.

Copyright and other legal complaints

If something on Clickseal infringes your rights, email support@clickseal.app with a link or description, who you are and why it is yours. We act on complaints that are specific and in good faith.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time in the app (Profile, Account, Delete account). We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the law.

The service

We work to keep Clickseal running but it is provided as is, and features can change. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law, or liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content that other people post.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Cyprus, without taking away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Changes and contact

We will tell you in the app before an important change applies. Questions: support@clickseal.app.
